How We Started
Reel Property Solutions was founded in 2014 with a specific focus on providing better operational and marketing capabilities to fishing resorts. This is really important as the needs, workflow and marketing is completely different from hotels and timeshares.
While designing the solution we often sat behind the desk with resort staff as they completed their many day to day tasks and we were surprised us at how many different systems (and paper) had to be referenced throughout the day.
We built a fully integrated solution that brings all of your information together in one place. Doing this gives you huge advantages operationally, but also from a marketing standpoint.
In working with resort owners we often found that they spent most of their time focused on administrative tasks with very little time to spend on the tasks that made them want to become a resort owner in the first place. Successful resort owners spend time getting to know their guests instead of just interacting with them when they check out, if at all.
Our Founder
Our founder Tad Palmquist was born and raised in the heart of a rural fishing resort community on Lake of the Woods in northern Minnesota and has always had a passion for the fishing resort industry.
Tad spent the first 15 years of his career at Accenture, the #1 IT Strategy & Operational consulting firm in the world running strategy, design, and development projects for Fortune 500 companies. Tad and his team have deep functional and technical skill sets along with a strong understanding of the fishing resort industry.
